This 1978-1988 Monte Carlo, El Camino, & Malibu second design 6-hole shadow box includes Classic Instruments black face gauges, custom shadow box to mount the gauges into your factory faceplate and wiring instructions. Made for a custom look, these Classic Instruments black face gauges are more accurate than the factory originals and they are easier to read. This gauge set comes pre-wired but you will need to splice the included harness into your existing dash harness.
Gauges included: 160mph electric speedometer, odometer, 240ohm fuel level sending unit, oil pressure, water temperature, voltmeter, and 10000rpm tachometer, (2) green LED turn signals installed and a blue LED bright beam indicator & red LED brake indicator supplied. Oil pressure and temperature senders are also included. The new shadow box and gauges will fit into your existing pod (modification required to existing box for clearance). Must have the round gauge layout to work (rectangular speedo from 78-80 Malibu and El Camino will not work).
NOTE: Classic instruments uses a 240ohm fuel sending unit as opposed to the factory 90ohm unit. A new sending unit is included and your fuel tank will need to be modified for it's use. Contact us for details.
